How does insurance work?


What/who is covered?

Pre-approved boats, owners, captains, and renters for Hull physical damage and liability to Third Parties.

When is my boat covered?

The Rental formally commences at the time the Scheduled Vessel is in the care, custody and control of the renter and/or a Boatsetter approved captain and the check-out process is completed or at the commencement of a familiarization cruise, which must not exceed two hours.

The rental period formally terminates at the time the Scheduled Vessel is returned to the Scheduled Vessel owner or approved designated agent and the check-in process is completed.

What’s the difference between Premium and Standard insurance?

Premium and Standard Insurances differ primarily based on their depreciation schedules and deductibles:

-       Premium Depreciation Schedule

-       Standard Depreciation Schedule

-       Deductible on Premium policy is 1% or $500, whichever is the greatest

-       Deductible on Standard policy is 2% or $500, whichever is the greatest
